As each of our bikes is individually customized to the wishes and needs of our customers, it is not possible for us to provide a fixed price. Here you will find some important information that is often asked – without long explanations:
Our bikes can be 100% individually branded – only the frame always remains in matt black. For all other elements such as the shade, body and lid, you can choose from all the colors in the RAL Classic range.
We use high-quality foils for the branding itself. You can choose between the following packages:
If you change your mind during the design process, the branding package can still be upgraded after the order has been placed.
Our e-bikes are equipped with powerful lithium-ion batteries, which vary in size depending on the model. The battery not only powers the pedal support, but also all of the bike’s electronic components – e.g. cooling, heating element, water pump or lights – i.e. everything that is operated via 36 V or 24 V.
As soon as the bike is connected to an external power source, the battery is automatically deactivated. All connected devices then run via the external power connection – this conserves the battery.
Battery sizes and performance
Note: These values only apply for driving or cooling. If used at the same time, the running time is reduced accordingly.
Note on battery care:
To ensure the longest possible service life, we recommend that you do not regularly charge the battery to 100%. Stopping charging at around 80-90% protects the cells and extends the service life. Storage at approx. 50 % charge level is also ideal – especially for longer periods of downtime.
Yes, our bikes offer various well thought-out options for storing and expanding the storage space – in addition to the storage space in the body of the bike.
This keeps your workspace tidy – and everything important is stored within easy reach.
For a quick and easy introduction, you can find a “First Steps” videowhich explains step by step how your bike works and what you should pay attention to.
You can also find all the important information on care and maintenance in the instructions for use on our download page in the “Instructions” section.

A total of 80 liters of ice cream fit into the Square. The 80 liters are made up of 6 GN trays of 5 liters each and 10 GN containers of 5 liters each (as a backup). In the Ice Cream Bike Square, 6 ice cream varieties are presented visibly.
Cooling can be set between +6 degrees and -16 degrees. In the Ice Square model , compressor cooling with a 2-circuit system is installed for this purpose.
Coolant used: R290
With the Square Bike, your customers can see your ice cream at first glance – and as we all know, the eye eats with you! With six carefully selected flavours, you offer just the right variety: enough choice for everyone to find what they want, but not so much that it’s hard to decide.
Thanks to the dual-circuit cooling system and the extra insulated glass, your ice cream stays constantly and reliably chilled – even when it’s busy and warm.
A total of 98 liters of ice cream fit into the Pozzetti. The 98 liters are made up of 8 Carapine (ice cream bowls) of 7 liters each plus 6 Carapine (as a backup). So a total of 14 Carapine in the bike.
The cooling can be set between +6 degrees and -16 degrees. The Pozzetti models are equipped with compressor cooling with a 1-circuit system.
Coolant used: R290
With the Pozzetti bike, you can convey the charm of classic Italian gelato culture: handmade, high-quality ice cream – fresh and authentically presented. The bike offers space for eight different flavors (six flavors in the square version) and ensures particularly efficient and constant cooling thanks to the special Pozzetti tube system.
The Paul&Ernst Streetfood Bikes can be equipped for gas or electric use. Important: If you want to work electrically, please note that the bike battery only supplies 36V or 24V – an external power supply is therefore required to operate kitchen appliances.
A combination of gas and electricity is also possible, so that you remain flexible depending on your location and requirements. Important: Please note the local safety regulations – in many regions it is not permitted to use gas and electricity at the same time. You must then decide on a variant for the day.
We recommend a standard camping gas cylinder with 5.6 kg (H: 52 cm; D: 22 cm). Please note the maximum dimensions (L 31 x W 31 x H 52 cm) of the recess before purchasing a gas cylinder.
ATTENTION: We expressly advise against having the gas cylinder connected by non-professionals. Always contact qualified specialists for the connection. The gas appliance is not connected by paul&ernst.
This is an HPL panel that is used for all bicycle variants, which are also considered the quality standard for ordinary household kitchens. To a certain extent, the material is resistant to water, heat and acids. However, we recommend using underlays for extreme heat (e.g. pots and pans).
The Cooking Pro I bike has an integrated 75-liter refrigerator that is powered directly by the bike’s battery. This means that the system remains completely independent of external power sources.
| Cooking PRO I | Length (mm) | Depth (mm) | Height (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Without console | 615 | 660 | 315 |
| With side console | 400 | 660 | 315 |
| With cross console | 615 | 455 | 315 |

This is partly true: with the Cooking Pro II, there is no room for a refrigerator on the bike itself, as the space is used for two kitchen appliances and/or consoles.
However, we offer the option of ordering a small cooling trailer with an additional 170 L cooling capacity – so your cooling needs are still covered. (see: basic trailer small).
| Cooking PRO II | Length (mm) | Depth (mm) | Height (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Without console | 1075 | 660 | 315 |

| With side and cross console | 860 | 455 | 315 |
With the Cooking Pro II, you have twice the cooking surface of the CPI, allowing you to place two to three cooking appliances on the bike at the same time. In combination with an additional cooling trailer, you also have the option of reliably cooling your ingredients.
Yes, we have three different solutions for the coffee bikes. There are two things to note for all three solutions.
Here is a brief introduction to Paul&Ernst Coffee Solutions:
Coffee Pro I: with refrigerator, but only space for a single-head portafilter machine
Coffee Pro II: without refrigerator, but with space for a two-head portafilter machine – optional 170L refrigerator in a small trailer
Lifting platform bike: without refrigerator, but with space for a large portafilter machine, which can be lowered into the body. (Advantage: the lid can be closed during transportation without removing the portafilter machine).
For coffee solutions, we strongly advise you to arrange a to arrange a consultation with usto discuss the different models together.
The Beer Bike fits 2 × 30-liter or 1x 50-liter Euro or DIN kegs.
Cooling is provided by a dual-circuit continuous-flow cooler, which ensures that the beer is always pleasantly chilled. See the cooling circuit in the following illustration:
We can integrate a dispensing tower into the bike – this can be equipped with a double tap on request.
Our bikes are equipped with a basket tap head (type S) as standard, as is common in most European breweries.
We also offer other tap head variants on request, such as type A (flat) or type G (bayonet). Please simply let us know your requirements when ordering.
Naturally – and the whole thing is also self-sufficient. The bike comes with a glass drip tray that can be safely stowed away inside during transportation. There is also an integrated
The entire interior in the body of the bike serves as a large cooling compartment. A total of 240 liters of cooling capacity is available. With our additional GN rails, GN containers can be stored in a standardized way.
There is no separate ice compartment, but our fridges are designed so that they are colder at the bottom. It gets warmer towards the top. This allows you to store ice safely and cold at the bottom, while keeping fruit or other delicate ingredients fresh in slightly milder cold air at the top.
The bottle sump is a stainless steel insert with a drain that is cooled from below. GN containers fit in here or alternatively ice cubes to keep drinks or ingredients reliably cold.
